This is the lab that Dr. Center prefers for the most accurate hormone
testing available today. The particular test he prefers is the 24 hr. urine
collection for hormone status, allowing remarkably precise determination of
pituitry(including DIRECT measurement of growth hormone levels), adrenal status,
thyroid status and sex hormone status. These tests allow a more precise measurement
and monitoring of need for and response to hormone replacement. For women, estrogen
metabolite determination allows Dr. Center to tailor "natural" hormone replacement,
diet and supplements to potentially significantly reduce breast cancer risk,
possibly even lower than with no hormone replacement at all.
