My Approach
A map forunfamiliar territory.
Health can feel overwhelming — especially when symptoms are complex, advice is conflicting, or the path forward isn't clear. My approach is built on one idea: that understanding your body changes everything.
01 / What Health Navigation Is
A knowledgeable guide. Not a clinician.
Health navigation is a form of personal health education. I'm not your doctor, and I don't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. What I offer is something different — time, perspective, and the kind of thorough, unhurried conversation that busy clinical appointments rarely allow. Together we explore your health history, make sense of your symptoms, and clarify the options in front of you.
Not
- ✕Not a replacement for your medical care
- ✕Not diagnosis or treatment
- ✕Not a second opinion from a treating physician
What it is
- ✓A space to ask the questions you haven't had time to ask
- ✓A way to understand your options before deciding
- ✓Preparation for more informed conversations with your care team
02 / The Philosophy
Your body is a city.Every system is connected.
Across decades in emergency, family, and integrative medicine, I noticed the same pattern: people received excellent care in isolated pieces, but rarely had anyone help them see the whole picture. A cardiologist sees the heart. A neurologist sees the nervous system. But who helps you understand how they relate? My work is built on a simple framework — the city analogy — that makes the body's interconnected systems intuitive and navigable.
01
Whole-person thinking.
Symptoms rarely exist in isolation. I look at the full picture — history, lifestyle, environment, and the interplay between systems — rather than a single complaint.
02
Integrative perspective.
My background spans conventional medicine, acupuncture, manual medicine, and lifestyle approaches. I help you understand the evidence and trade-offs across all of them.
03
Education over prescription.
My goal is to leave you more informed, not more dependent. Every conversation is designed to build your own capacity to navigate your health.
04
Unhurried conversation.
The average clinical appointment is 18 minutes. Our conversations are not. You have time to ask, explore, and understand — without the clock running.
03 / Who This Is For
You might be a good fit if…
- ✦You're managing a complex or chronic condition and want to understand it more deeply.

- ✦You want to prepare thoughtful questions before an important medical appointment.
- ✦You're interested in complementary or integrative approaches and want an informed perspective.
- ✦You simply want more time with someone who can explain things clearly.
04 / How It Works
Simple. Personal. Unhurried.
